Check Out The Amazing Portfolio Of Steve McCurry.
It was through a girl that I actually met on a text dating site that I was introduced to the work of Steve McCurry. I think I had mentioned the fact that I was very interested in documentarians and photographers, and she recommended his work because her brother had studied his work as part of his college work.
Completely fascinating work and definitely something that I want to try and emulate in my own work when I get started in producing my own portfolio.
That is completely dependent on the fact that I really need to get off my bum and actually start shooting some stuff! It's not as if there is a lack of things to shoot here in New Zealand, it's a great country in that regard, but I am easily distracted - and of course, I do have this new girlfriend that I met through text dating, so I do have a major new and very pleasant distraction. She is certainly a far more worth distraction than wasting my time playing Skyrim - I know I would suck at that game when I bought it!
